Site been slow for yah? Here’s why:
Well, over the weekend - Sunday and Monday especially, I noticed TLP had been operating EXTREEEEEEMLY slowly. I chalked this up to the google ads (which I’m positive were at least 1/4 to blame) and increased traffic possibly from CSS Reboot. I was surprised today to recieve an email from Glenn Jones, explaining that the nifty javascript tool, mapsurface was to blame!
Parts of the MapSurface system suffered a rare network connection problem between 2-3 May. Browsers should not be affected by the unavailability of JavaScript files, but issue has shown this is not always true. We do not believe this problem will happen again. I am sorry for any speed problem your user may have suffered.
I still think mapsurface is one of the best stat analyizers for a simple, quick look right on the surface of your site. I will continue to use mapsurface, and will continue recommending it to others.
